I haven't passed out cards or goodies this year, but I did write a poem just for you.

I don’t want to be a Grinch.
I don’t want to be lack-luster.
But a smile on my face
Seems rather hard to muster. 

The lines are too long.
The people not nice.
Already today,
I’ve been to the store twice.

My anxiety level is rising.
My blood pressure is too.
Every time I think I’m just about done,
I find one more thing to do.

So if you don’t get a card,
Or a plate of treats so fine,
It’s not that I don’t like ya,
It’s just that I’ve lost my mind.
