​Oh, to be unspoken, 
what a concept that must be!
To hold in the thoughts and words
better left unsaid - but that's not me. 
If only I could be more unspoken
instead of outspoken
more quiet and contemplative 
instead of voiceful and awoken,
I'd face less trouble in rooms with differing beliefs,
differing morality, and views.
But how do I stay silent 
when their actions don't match their butts in the pews. 
                                                         Softspoken, unspoken, mute -
                                                         not going to happen here. 
                                                         If my loud mouth doesn't speak,
                                                         getting me unwelcomed,
                                                         my face surely will.
