Song Lyric Sunday - "Time Warp" #RHPS #SLS

The Time Warp (1975) by Richard O'Brien from The Rocky Horror Picture Show is fantastic! Why wouldn't it be? It not only doubles as a creative fun song but as dance lessons, too! Even the dance challenged can participate - similar to performing "YMCA" or the "Macarena." Tell me what to do, and let me DO IT! What's not to love about that? It's an iconic song because of its ability to ignite audience participation. 

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic. Most cities play the movie in a downtown theater or two, and people do show up in costume. Everyone participates and sing along. It can get crazy. I've only been once, back in my college days, years and years ago.

Even television shows from GLEE, to Veronica Mars, to The Drew Carey Show have done their takes on it (see a fun clip from The Drew Carey Show below...a favorite of mine).
